Good morning from The Hague! 🇳🇱 Last night I spoke with Irishka, the lady I run fundraising campaigns with. She told me she was at a location in Kherson when a 🇷🇺 drone struck very close by. She ran into a nearby building for cover. The blast blew the windows right out of their frames, and the drone hit dozens of meters further away, possibly where her car was parked. 😨 She had to psych herself up before daring to go back to the car, terrified it would be completely destroyed. Luckily, the building had shielded the parking area, and the car was totally fine. The drone situation in the Kherson region has gotten much worse. A lot more 🇷🇺 drone pilots have been deployed there recently, and the number of drones, especially fiber-optic ones, has increased sharply. Fortunately, it all ended well yesterday. She can’t avoid all the risks though, her work has to continue, and not working means no money. 🤷♀️ Because of that conversation, I completely forgot to post my fundraiser update. As of around 21:00 Kyiv time, $820 had come in for the 34th 🔥🔥 So we still need about $1,300 to get their wheels. Today I’m hoping to hear more about the 10 power stations for Ukraine that have been delivered in Germany 🇩🇪 And some good news: my fellow volunteer Evert managed to get hold of gear from the Dutch army: around 100 tourniquets and some safety equipment. ✊🏼 Great job! 🇺🇦 Have a wonderful day, everyone!

The car dealer has just informed us that he wants to settle the payment for the car. 😰 He knows that the fundraiser is still ongoing.
