Because of this community, we raised $3560 to provide 5 Creality CR-K1 Max 3D printers for the Perun Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. These will help their munitions team produce critical components faster and keep defending Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who donated and everyone who shared and amplified the fundraiser. ⚔️ PERUN UPDATE ⚔️ Up since 3AM again. 😆 (went to sleep early so I’m good) When messages come in from Ukraine, they wake me - even on silent. Somehow I feel them. 🔥 This video was sent by a commander I work with in the Perun Unmanned Systems Battalion, 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. These defenders use cutting-edge drone tech to protect Ukraine with precision and efficiency. Their munitions team needed Creality CR-K1 Max 3D printers to keep up and you helped make that happen. ♥️🥹 His message with the video: “Good afternoon and peaceful skies. This is how our day is going.” He’s always formal at first. Then he loosens up. 🥹 What stands out to me about the entire PERUN community - soldiers, commanders, volunteers - is this: • We greet each other with respect. • We work like professionals - ladies and gentlemen who demonstrate best practices of leadership, drone warfare and fundraising. (I share all Perun reports on Facebook. Perun is huge there. Ruslana Melnyk is my chief executive of volunteering and mentor. Her reports are impeccable.) • And we are absolutely fierce when it comes to defending Ukraine. I asked what we were seeing. He replied: “Over the next few days, I will take several photos of everything we are making thanks to your 3D printers. And in the video, those are the shells we are cutting open to extract explosives from them.” This is the reality. This is the work. I am deeply grateful that this remarkable brigade was supported here by the NAFO community through our collection efforts. You made this possible. 💙💛

⚔️ PERUN REPORT ⚔️ This morning the commander woke me up! 🤯☀️😆 “Good afternoon, wishing you a peaceful sky. As promised, we bought five printers. I also sent you the receipts. There is some money left over, so the guys will use it to purchase consumables for the printers — that is, certain parts that wear out very quickly and are constantly needed.” ⚔️⚔️⚔️ I’d like to thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for helping me do this incredibly important work for our military. I alway say “our” military. I am Canadian. My roots are in Ukraine and Poland. My family is defending. This military is defending all of us right now from the evil terrorists. Our military. Damn right it is all of our military who are against that evil. And instead of complaining and whining that the world leaders are not supporting them appropriately - we focus on how we can help. No time for politricks when genocide is live and ongoing.

Two printers have already been purchased and delivered to us. They called from the company we’re ordering from and said they’re sending two more printers. They should arrive around Sunday.” I will keep you all updated once the report is complete. Thanks Meg we don’t have a collection right now for these guys though. This week they are working on purchasing the van that we raised funds for recently, and they will present a report and video thanking everybody as soon as possible. The other update is for Perun. There was a delay due to some issues, but they have purchased the 3-D printers and are waiting for them to arrive and they will also present a report and a thank you to everybody who helped them. Right now, I am helping Tanya @BousovaT who has a collection for her brother-in-law’s unit. This is the one that we’ve been focusing on. We’re very grateful for all of your help and I hope you continue to feel better 🫂♥️🐦🔥
