From those who made incredible donations, to those who gave a few dollars, to everyone who boosted this fundraiser, shared it with friends, and helped spread the word… You made this happen. When Gimli Division’s FPV position in Kostiantynivka was destroyed, it was an emergency. They couldn’t simply carry on without replacing the equipment they had lost. Because of all of you, they now can. This fundraiser was a beautiful reminder that crowdfunding works. Every donation mattered. Every repost mattered. Every encouraging word mattered.   I am completely overwhelmed. Our dear friend Natalka Lindstrom @NatalkaL has just donated $2,250 USD to Gimli Division. 🥹 @GimliDivision Natalka isn’t just a donor. She’s family. She was the original Gimli Girl - the person who believed in us from the very beginning. She donated the very first thank-you gifts that made my first fundraising raffle possible, and she has stood beside Serhii and me ever since.   I’m glad this question was asked. There are a lot of new people joining our community who weren’t following the war from the beginning. Many have had to sort through years of propaganda and misinformation before deciding who to trust. Asking questions is part of that process, and I think it’s important that we answer them openly. More than four years into the full-scale invasion, people are often surprised to learn that we’re still crowdfunding essential military equipment. But the reality is that soldiers, their families, volunteers, and communities are still filling urgent gaps every single day. Today’s example is a perfect one. When this FPV control station was destroyed, the brigade couldn’t simply pull another one off a shelf. Ordering a replacement through official procurement would mean waiting until it could be included in a much larger purchase. That takes time they don’t have. By raising funds directly, we can replace critical equipment quickly and get these drone teams back into the fight. There are many large fundraising initiatives doing incredible work, but there are also countless units whose immediate needs are met only because communities like ours step in. That’s what we’ve been doing for over four years as part of the international #NAFO community, and we’ll keep doing it for as long as we’re needed. Thank you to everyone who asks questions in good faith, donates, shares, and helps others understand why this work still matters.   EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER Today, Gimli Division’s FPV position in Kostiantynivka direction was destroyed by an enemy strike. By a miracle, every member of the team escaped the basement in time. They are all alive. ❤️ But they lost nearly everything they need to operate, including their FPV drone control station - the heart of their operations. Without it, they cannot effectively carry out their missions in one of the hottest sectors of the front. 🎯 Goal: 200,000 UAH (~$4,500 USD) Every donation and every repost helps put these defenders back in the fight.
